And every day, it is an adventure. You would imagine that after a year or so you would become an expert in how to brew the perfect cup. Either I am daft or getting the perfect cup is a tad harder than it seems.
You have your coffee. What kind of coffee and the style of roast matters. Then you have your grinder. Getting the right grind size and "dial it in". And then there is the matter of the water. The largest ingredient you have in a cup of coffee.
And this is not even mentioning your brew method, water temperature, type of filter, and the color of your mug (yes, some say that matters too).
This is a deep, deep hole you can get swallowed in.
But one that I enjoy every morning.
